Take this journey with Tiffany and Tommy during a 4-week immersive workshop into the ancient practice of yoga to deepen your understanding of why a complete yoga practice is powerful with life changing benefits. Expand your awareness of the teachings from the ancient yoga texts to further understand the 8 limbs of yoga and how your asana practice is only a part of the practice of yoga that can by expanded beyond your mat. Explore yoga philosophies that will help you find greater inner peace and more balance to navigate the challenges of daily life to live a more authentic life. Strengthen your asana practice on the mat by expanding your mind off the mat.

WHEN & WHERE DO WE MEET?

4 Weekly Sunday Sessions: TBD
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The course will take place at Practice Yoga Studio.

 

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
Each 90 minute session will include:

  • In-depth exploration of different aspects of yogic philosophy including the five yamas and five niyamas

  • Journaling to deepen your understanding of how to apply these philosophies to transform your daily life in a positive and impactful way

  • Guided yoga practice to complete the mind body connection

CREDENTIALS

Tiffany Mack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Oakland University, a Teaching Certificate from Madonna University and a Masters degree in Teaching from Marygrove College. She has taken certification courses in Mindfulness, Mindfulness & Self Compassion, along with Mindfulness & Restorative Practices through Oakland University. For several years, she has created and led mindfulness programs and retreats for high school aged teenagers. Tiffany is also a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor and a certified Master Sound Healer Practitioner from Meditate: School of Mindfulness.


Tommy Mack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Oakland University, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor.  Tommy has led countless RYT 200 Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training programs over the last 8 years all of which have included Mindfulness + Mediation as part of the YTT course curriculum.  He is a certified Master Sound Healer Practitioner from Meditate: School of Mindfulness + Meditation. Tommy has also studied Pranayama and Breathwork for years, most recently completing the Life Awareness Breathwork Instructor Course, has completed Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor Certification, and has studied Pranayama and breath work with Master Teachers from around the world.
